Our names are Alice and Federico and we live with our two daughters in Pacengo, a small village which is part of Lazise del Garda, amid the Morainic Hills near Lake Garda.
The family farm has existed for ages and has always utilised the resources the territory: we began with breeding during the time of our great grandfathers and the followed with agriculture. Meanwhile, we diversified into landscaping and the activity has expanded to the design and creation of entire green areas, thus giving life to an actual gardening business.
Over time, we had the idea of expanding our agricultural propery, with the creation of an Agricamping, and in July 2017 we welcomed our first guests with enthusiasm. We decided to diversify into outdoor activities, using part of the land to create the Agricamping by building 8 camp sites, 7 bungalows and 3 glamping tents.
To the delight of both adults and children alike, on our property you will also find geese, ducks and chickens, along with rabbits, goats and a pony, which is mainly taken care of by Nonno (Grandad) Giovanni (we call him Gianni).
Along with Nonna (Grandma) Stefania, Nonno (grandad) Gianni keeps all the traditions and endeared local customs alive. Among said traditions is to gather the wild herbs of the region which Nonna uses in the kitchen for the preparation of typical Venetian dishes, which we will talk about in some posts.
Zio (Uncle) Felice is an expert in beekeeping and is responsible for collecting the fruit of the bees work, who feed on the flower nectar. The collection is done using an artisan method. This is how the millefiori (a thousand flowers) and acacia honey are born. You can taste the honey during your stay or maybe enjoy it on fresh bread for breakfast, along with farm fresh eggs from our hens, who are kept an eye on by our faithful Cocker Spaniel, Arco.
